Kingsgate Consolidated Limited approached Como Engineers to assist with the restarting of the Chatree Gold Plant #2. The treatment plant had been mothballed for 6 years.
Como Engineers initially provided a capital cost review to re-establish the operation. Como Engineers then provided Project Management and Supervision services (both remotely and in country) to facilitate the recommissioning of the Chatree Gold Plant #2.
Como Engineers worked with the client’s Thai engineers as well as local contractors to return the plant to nameplate capacity (2.7 Mtpa).
The scope of work included the rebuilding of platework for chutes, hoppers. screens, piping, electrical and instrumentation.
