Norton Gold Fields have commissioned their Binduli North Heap Leach Project. The project is located approximately10 kilometres west of Kalgoorlie, Western Australia.
Agglomerated ore is conveyed to the heap leach area via a series of grasshopper conveyors to a radial stacker which stacks the ore in a series of cells where it is irrigated. Loaded carbon is then transferred into an elution circuit for stripping, followed by electrowinning and smelting in the on-site gold room.
Como Engineers supplied a modular PZ plant (complete with gold room) capable of processing 5 tonnes of carbon per day. In addition a 250 kg/hr Custom Furnaces regeneration kiln was supplied.
Our engineers worked closely with Norton Gold Fields for the delivery (design, construction and commissioning) of the gold elution plant and congratulate Norton on being the latest new gold operation in Western Australia.
That’s the Como Engineers difference.
