Cracow Process Plant Upgrade

The Cracow upgrade was designed to increase the plant production throughput from the existing 450ktpa gold processing plant to 550ktpa.
The project included the removal of 1.5 MW ball mill from Telfer, transport, refurbishment and installation at Cracow, Qld.
Subsequently Como Engineers refurbished the 600 kW ball mill on site.
Works carried out by Como included minor earthworks for new leach tank pad, new leach tank concrete footings and bunded area, a new leach tank complete with bridge and access walkway, complete refurbishment of the regrind mill in-situ, a new trash screen and platform structure, completely new electrics for mill and leach tank including all new transformer, switch fuse, cable trays and cabling, instrumentation, new mill control panels (LV & HV), plus a mill lube system with local control stations.
All new piping was installed throughout mill and leach tank areas with blasting and painting being undertaken for all existing structures and mill on site during production.
