Go back to projects Printable VersionComo Engineers provided electrowinning and carbon regeneration equipment for the Gruyere Gold Project Joint Venture. This included a 1,500 kg/h Carbon Regeneration Kiln, made by Custom Furnaces, who Como are proud to represent in Australia. At the time of installation it was the largest fuel-fired horizontal rotary kiln Custom Furnaces had made. Since then kilns as large as 2,000 kg/h have been made.
Como also supplied 6 off 800x800x12 electrowinning cells, fume extraction systems and other goldroom equipment. These specialist equipment items have been designed by Como specifically for the gold industry, and are fabricated in our North Fremantle premises.
Gruyere is a Tier 1 low-cost and long-life asset with current mine life in excess of 10 years. Production is at a rate of approximately 350,000 ounces per annum through to 2032
