Toka Tindung Scats Crushing Circuit Upgrade
2021
North Sulawesi, Indonesia
Toka Tindung is located approximately 35 km northeast of Manado on the island of Sulawesi and is one of the largest gold mining areas in Southeast Asia. Commercial production commenced in 2011. While the original plant throughput was approximately 1.7 Mtpa, this has subsequently been increased to 4 Mtpa.
Como was engaged to complete the Detailed Engineering and Execution package (EPCM) through its Indonesian office (PT Como Engineers) for the Scats Crushing Circuit Upgrade.
This continues a long association with the Toka Tindung operation which stretches back to 2010 when Como provided commissioning assistance for the original start up. Since then Como has continued to provide specialist services and equipment to the site. More recently Como has also been undertaking studies for the expansion of the operations from approximately 3 Mtpa to over 4 Mtpa.
